Abstract
This piece studied the burning issue of migration among the young people from Nigeria. It observes that the teaming population of young Nigerians at various embassies (and High Commissions) in Lagos and Abuja complemented by their counterparts at various land borders crossing into neighboring countries gives an indication that all is not well in Nigeria. Why does everyone want to leave? Is there any place better than home? Is Nigeria no longer home to Nigerians? Why risk it all to get out of your home? In this work, the researcher attempted to answer these questions and also highlight the reasons for the massive “exodus” of Nigerians into Europe and America and of recent, Asian and even neighbouring countries.
