FAITH IN ONE GOD: CHALLENGES FOR INTER-FAITH DIALOGUE
Abstract
The African Religious worldview expressed in the profession of faith in Christianity, Islam and African Traditional Religion projects a common believe in one God which gives the African religious experience a monotheistic undertone, but then, this monotheistic system is lived out differently and it is this difference that has swerved further to create a tension in dialogue between the religions in Africa and it is only a better understanding of these religions shunning the appreciation of a single story that would bring about a better dialogue.
