Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

· Referencing Style – All papers presented for publication should comply with the Harvard Referencing Style. This is the referencing style for the journal.
· Manuscript should be prepared in 12-point Times New Roman font with single line spacing.
· The size of the manuscript – Manuscript should not exceed 7000 words, including references, tables etc.
· Authors are encouraged to adhere strictly to the ethics of research by properly referencing other used works and ensure that their papers are original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
· Fees - A non-refundable vetting fee of N5000.00 should accompany each submission. Upon positive review, a publication fee of N20000.00 will be required for final publication.
· Timeliness -All papers for publication should be forwarded to ibejournalofphilosophy@ksu.edu.ng
