Abstract

The focus of this paper is on the roles of creativity in problem-solving as education economics perceived. It discussed the concept of creativity, types of creativity, diver part thinking in creativity, process of creative thinking, characteristics of creative students/individuals, positive attitudes that promotes creativity and negative attitudes that retard creativity. The paper further X-ray the concept of problem solving, steps in effective problem-solving process, mental blocks to creative thinking in problem solving, creativity senerpy in problem-solving role of Education Economics lectures in problem–solving and the integration of creativity and problem-solving theories in enhancing organization productivity
