TRINITARIAN UNITY AND AFRICAN COMMUNALISM

Abstract

The mystery and doctrine of the Trinity, which lies at the centre of the Christian faith, could also be found and expressed outside the Christian world. The encounter with this mystery can evoke a deep experience embracing all our humanity - emotions, reason, will, desire, heart and the like. The response and expression of this encounter by different people varies from place to place, culture to culture, and religion to religion. For example, the reaction and expression of the encounter with the mystery of the Trinity by Christians, is that of praise, worship and proclamation.
