The challenges of the Alrican Christian In the light of Mark 10:29

Resumen

The periscope Mark 10:28-31 is often read from the perspective I of the reward that awaits the followers of Jesus. However, this same pericope poses considerable challenge for the very follower to whom reward is promised. The challenges in question become apparent and more perceptible in societies where the social structure of kinship is still preserved and highly valued, as in the African traditional society. This work explores these challenges, taking the Igbo (Nigerian) traditional society as its particular focus.
