CHRISTIANITY, HUMAN RIGHTS AND NATIOMNAI INTEGRATION

Resumen

What 1s popularly known and esteemed by many nations in the world today as human rights has a long history which cannot be told without the Christian religion. Christianity played very important role from different dimensions towards the development of the concept and practice of these rights which in turn have continued to contribute positively towards the unification and growth of peoples and nations. This study sheds light on how Christianity helped to Jay the foundation of human rights through its teachings and practices. Drawing insights from previous studies on this issue, this discussion makes its own propositions, evaluations and conclusions about the implications of Christian contribution to human right on national unity and progress.
