It is the belief of the writer that conflict and ifs mastery dare integral parts of any living organism or society, There iy no natural organism or socicty of beings that is involved in any process of growth without one form of conflict or the other, We scc this in plants and animals, In the same way, any human organization on the way to maturity hears distinctive anpects of conflict. The carly Christian communities were not immune 10 this phenomenon. So the question arises as to the appreciation of the import of Acts 4:32 which expresses that the carly group of believers was united in heart and soul. Was this the real or the ideal situation of the carly followers of Jesus? A clear understanding of the trajectory of conflict in the carly church could help the Nigerian project.
