A PHILOSPHY FOR INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE THIRD REPUBLIC

Résumé

The Nigerian project has since proven to undergo a bumpy ride, plagued by many and numerous vices of immorality, corruption, violence, abuse of power, tribalism, insecurity, examination malpractice and other inherent acts of indecency. These ill happenings have made the people of Nigeria to face untold hardships which succeeds in leaving the lingering question on the lips of every Nigerian, where did we get it wrong? One way to address this question is to engage in a sincere introspection and a retreat to the drawing board which is a return to the African philosophy of solidarity and communitarianism, back to African socialism, and also back to the African nature of classless society.
