Abstract

Abstract The Igbo people, who originally come from the southeastern region of Nigeria, have a rich cultural heritage and a history of resilience. In recent decades, many Igbo people have left their homeland and settled around the world. As a result, the Igbo diaspora has made a significant impact on the global community, in areas such as business, politics, and culture. This abstract will explore the contributions of the Igbo diaspora in global business, politics, and the arts, as well as the challenges and opportunities they face. In doing so, the research will into an outline will consisting four main parts which includes; an introduction to the Igbo people and their migration history; an overview of the Igbo diaspora's impact in global business, politics, and the arts; an analysis of the challenges and opportunities faced by the Igbo diaspora; and, a conclusion and discussion of future research directions. To achieve this, the research intends to employ the analytic and traditional archival methods to bring to bear the Igbo impact in world politics, economics and arts.
